Darius 1061

Darius 1061 is from the Republic of Trinidad and Tobago: 10, 61 represents the latitude and longitude coordinates for the island of Trinidad. In this regard he offers a rare taste of something musically alluring both band and solo act Darius 1061 infuses, varying island genres of music: Spoken word, African drums, Electric guitars and the Ableton Sequencer, to creatively make a sound that is enticing, fresh and new. His teams are members of the new era of music, and his fans are privy to be part of the coming wave.

2008
Independently recorded his first single, NEWS, with Jus Now Collaborator and Producer Keshav “Lazabeam” Singh.

2009
Opened for 3 Canal’s Rapso concert “Freedom.” Later that year he sang backing vocals for Nigel Rojas’ band Orange Sky.

2010 – 2012
Performing and Recording. Represented Cabezon at performances in Shoreditch, London and Apple Jack’s Restaurant, Canada.

2013
Off the stage and into the classroom, he enrolled at the University of Trinidad and Tobago Artist Diploma –Voice Programme and completed the full-time programme in June 2016.

Releases Pop Rock track – Quarter Pass. Additionally he joined Bay Area Drum School as a drumming student and lead vocal singer.
