Narisha Khan

Narisha Khan is a Metal/Rock artist from Trinidad and Tobago in the West Indies. Launching her career as the lead vocalist for the Nu Metal band Sping in 2003, Narisha has been focusing on a solo performance and writing career which officially commenced with the release of her first solo EP entitled “Bigger Picture” in 2017, the main record being an emotional recount of personal struggle entitled “Till the End”. Most recently, on December 25th, 2018, Narisha released her first Metal single entitled “Stupid” which was written by the founding members of Sping circa 2005, and which featured stalwart underground musicians Ravi Maharaj, Kareem Khan and Rory Mohammed. Likened to iconic rock vocalists including Joan Jett and Janis Joplin, Narisha’s gritty vocals delivered via an extensive Alto range and enormous power has resulted in fans delivering comments like those below on social media:

Strongly influenced by the Nu Metal and Grunge movements of the early 1990’s, Narisha’s biggest vocal influences include Chris Cornell (Soundgarden), Eddie Vedder (Pearl Jam), Serj Tankian (System of a Down), Jonathan Davis (Korn), Sarah McLachlan and Alanis Morisette. Now also heavily interested in Hip Hop and EDM, Narisha’s original sound is saturated with bass and drums that reflect the rhythmic influences of her homeland.
